IOL 2009
Ireland first competed at IOL 2009, when the competition was held in Wrocław, Poland.
Representing Ireland were:

- Ruadhan Treacy, Newtown School, Waterford
- Stephen Ennis, Newtown School, Waterford
- Aislinn McGuire, Mount Temple School, Dublin
Ruadhan Treacy received an Honourable Mention for Ireland at the 2009 IOL.
